Follow Via the Person's Profile Page Step 1 Image Credit: Image courtesy of Twitter Tap the Search icon on the main menu at the top of the Twitter app. Enter the name of the person you want to follow and then tap that person's name on the list of search results to load the person's profile page. The Twitter app displays a list of related accounts you may also want to follow. Tap the Follow icon next to any of these suggested accounts to begin following them. Follow Via a Tweet Every tweet an account makes on Twitter provides access to a Follow button, which you can use to begin following that account.
